Hi Olander Community,

In 2012, Poudre School District adopted a Standards Based Teaching and Learning Framework (above assessed dimensions). At Olander, we use the Framework to develop a shared understanding of effective instructional practices to make informed decisions that will positively impact the learning for all our students.
Our focus is to keep coming back to the Framework, so that all our students continue to have learning experiences that enable them to think critically, analyze information to solve problems, collaborate and work together, take initiative for their own learning, and communicate about their ideas in ways that are grounded in analysis that is clear, concise and effective. These are the skills that students need to function in a changing world.
We truly appreciate your partnership as we continuously try to improve the school and utilize Project Based Learning as a core component of 21st century learning. We will be analyzing the survey results further to help identify areas for improvement and to celebrate our school’s successes.
Thank you again for your partnership. As always, if you have any questions about your student(s) learning needs, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are looking forward to a great 2018!
