Literacy Lab

Welcome to the Olander Literacy Lab! 

Literacy Lab

The Literacy Lab at Olander is designed for students who are having persistent difficulty with basic literacy skills. Literacy Lab staff members work intensively with small groups of students to make reading and writing more attainable for kindergarten through fifth grade students in need. Phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and, of course, comprehension are the main areas of instruction.

Our highly trained, experienced, and passionate Literacy Lab staff deliver research-based instruction to best address the needs of our students. The daily progress in the "Lit Lab" is remarkable!
